general; no specific canon point
- hates the cold. hates it with every fiber of his being. will steal every last blanket on the bed if it means he keeps warm.
- also hates doctors and scientists. sorry, tony and broose. jane might be okay since she's an astrophysicist, though.
- hydra kept him on an iv drip rather than feeding him actual food, so he doesn't remember to take any sort of care of himself. can go for a handful of days without eating before crashing, if he's not reminded to.
- when he does remember to eat, he's ravenous. will eat anything put in front of him. stomach size has shrunken from lack of use, but he'll eat what he can, and fast. sometimes it makes him sick.
- in that vein, he likes things with strong flavors. spicy, sour, sweet, anything that's overwhelming is good to him. plain things like bagels or peanut butter are no good.
- do not!! touch his arm without his express permission!! he will freak the fuck out at you.
- doesn't like being the focus of attention; prefers staying out of the spotlight, back in the shadows. too much attention makes him uncomfortable.

- any clothes he does have, he procured mostly by stealing. his wardrobe pretty much consists of a shirt, a pair of pants, and his jacket. he'll wear them until they're gross, and then go steal another set.
- cash flow involves stealing from petty criminals (money, sometimes clothing) and leaving them unconscious for the police; he has an almost-new pair of chucks he got off someone who was harassing a drunk lady.
- incapable of making decisions, to the point it gives him severe anxiety if he's got too many choices. hydra told him what to do for so long, now he has trouble making his own choices. (here)
- he still checks down alleyways for steve, even if he's not entirely sure why.
